Community Development, Inc. is a full-service community management firm serving hundreds of associations and tens of thousands of homes in the greater Twin Cities. We provide communities with financial services, collections, inspections, rule enforcement, emergency response and more.

Customers come first. Have a maintenance request or question? We’ll return your call or e-mail within one to two business days. And we do our best to anticipate your needs, so it’s possible you won’t need to contact us at all.
We help you save money and manage risk. One major way we do this is by helping to negotiate vendor contracts in your favor, with your best interests in mind.
A large company with a small company feel. Sometimes, people tell us they’d prefer working with a smaller management company, thinking that’s the only way to receive great service. Community Development is large, with over 100 employees, but our number-one priority is providing exceptional service. And because of our size, we can also leverage capabilities and expertise that smaller, less established companies can’t. Community Development gives you the best of both worlds.
CPAs on staff. You trust us to oversee thousands—if not millions—of your community’s dollars. That’s a lot of money, which is why we only allow Certified Public Accountants to manage it. They handle your funds with the highest level of professionalism and precision.
Limited workload for Community Managers. Each Community Manager oversees just a handful of properties. For our clients, this means that the Community Manager assigned to your property is more available to respond to your requests and provide the attention you deserve.
A team approach. All of our Community Managers work together with a Community Specialist, who assists them. For those Community Specialists that wish to be a Community Manager, it’s an excellent training opportunity.
Making the switch is easy. All you need to do is tell your current management company that you’re taking your business to Community Development. Our dedicated on-boarding staff takes care of everything else.
